Pobble House
Award Winning Design
Designed by Guy Hollaway Architects, this exceptional property can sleep up to ten guests and offers the perfect retreat from the stresses and strains of everyday life.
With its angular profile set against the dramatic coastal backdrop and extraordinary Dungeness, Pobble’s minimalist interior design allows nature to take the main stage with spectacular views of the landscape on show from sunrise to sunset.
THE DETAILS
Pobble House takes its name from an old Kentish word for pebble and was expertly designed with the surrounding environment in mind. The form and materials used - larch, Corten steel and cement fibre-board respectively - were carefully chosen to blend into the landscape and for their durable, insulating and energy efficient qualities.
This home itself is formed into three main sections; a bright and airy open living space with a kitchen and recessed dining area, a spine hallway that passes two bedrooms and bathrooms and a large carriage-style bunk bed room.
This beautifully crafted home is perfect for families and friends, and a must-stay destination for nature lovers and architectural enthusiasts alike.
